I want some answers I love one piece but I don't know why. this never happens with other animes I like bleach because of the fights and fullmetal alchemist for the story but I can't figure out why I like one piece. so tell me why you like it so I can find out why I do

There are many reasons to like One Piece and, to others, hate One Piece (fuck you, 4kids). One of the reasons why I like this series is because through the whole story, it never lost its humerous tone. Ever since the beginning, you could snicker, laugh, chuckle or just be amused at the jokes. And it has never changed since. And there are also times when seriousness/drama is inserted and perfectly fits in. And STILL the humour, one of the reasons what made One Piece one of the Shonen Trio, hasn't disappeared.
I'd comment on the other 2 of the Shonen trio, but i'll just leave it alone to those who love them

The way Oda writes the One Piece storyline is excellent. So many times i felt the emotion that he made his characters show. I have to say the show excels at both story and action.
So for why you love One Piece, it's probably because of the great mix of action, story and emotion.

Why I like it (Manga) because it's humurous and shows a lot of potential still waiting to be revealed, also the characters are unique and fascinating. Why I hate it (Anime), because for a story with such a good plot they really should have improved the artwork along with the graphic. Sorry but unlike the manga where I do not have to tolerate seeing stick figures waving around like crap in the anime I have to say that I was disappointed that they're so skinny. Overall Onepiece as a story and a manga is perfect but I cannot say the same for its anime...

I think one thing that is awesome is how, like some one else said, at any moment it seems Luffy could meet the wrong enemy and get jacked up... but you know that wont happen cause it's luffy and he'll bounce back (pun inteneded).
Also you really do feel the emotion from the writing, like when luffy finally punches the prince after so many episodes of me wanting to off that guy luffy finally is able too... so many moments like that, make me love it.

One Piece? Well the story is great, the back story is great, you sympathise the characters. It balances comedy and serious moments very well. You always root for the good guys and theme of consistency is very strict there. Not like Naruto or Bleach where they just say one thing then totally forget about it.

may be because way the one piece has comedy and has adventure story at the same time. Because in some cases of anime like bobobo, the characters are funny but it doesn't have strong story structure.
Also the another reason is that luffy has fought someone stronger than himself( crocdile, the 7 warlords, etc.) and mostly won. he is the main character that always goes to near death. In up comming chapters he will fight Garp. the legendary marine hero and mentot/fight teacher of both Ace D. Roger and Monkey D.Luffy.

Technical Romance?
It also has some of the coolest looking fight scenes, and everyone loves cool looking fighting scenes. And with how many different types and powers there are and what not, the story is just so different and awesome.

Kenshin from Rurouni Kenshin starts strong and stays strong, Train from Black Cat, Lelouch actually gets weaker, Prince from 1/2 Prince is always the strongest character in that Manhua.

I will say, Luffy's Jet Bazooka is probably the coolest looking attack in anime atm... I love that attack :lol:

The reason i love One Piece is because from the beginning to the current season, One Piece is consistent from the start i mean most anime would be way too serious after a while to be watched with out concentration but One Piece still have comedy from time to time even after hunders of series and we still can have a good laugh :)

One Piece is one of my most favourite manga's/anime series, I think it's due to the fact Oda has made such well made likable characters for the crew, although they do argue now and then they still work really well, it's like a family :P
Also it's nice to see Luffy doesn't randomly power up to get through a fight, when he's up against someone very strong he never wins straight away, but he keeps on coming back, he pushes his way through making sure he wins. Gear Second and Third may be seen as power ups, but it's nice to see they aren't as random, and don't insta-defeat his opponents.
It's a very well written balanced story, and sometimes I think Naruto and Bleach could take a few good tips from One Piece. (sorry to blab on xD.)
