What do you guys think about Naruto Shippuden dubbed

I got a real shock when I found out Viz has started dubbing Naruto Shippuden yesterday and I'm curious as to what you guys think about it. Did they change voice actors for anyone cause I know according to the storyline its been at least 2 or more year since Naruto left to train with Jiraiya. I've always kinda liked the japanese voices more because the naruto seiyuu doesn't sound quite so annoying.

If you were shocked they were going to dub it, wait til it airs on Disney XD

I can sum up the opinion of most people about dubs and hence the opinion on NS dub. Most people hate dubs it's something that people hate because it normally sucks.

As for me I could give a shit because NS eventually has to catch up with the Manga and the lamest moment in history will happen again so I don't watch Naruto any more.

I've only seen Naruto dubbed in my mother language, and it (as well as any other dubbed anime series) fails terribly.
This results in me watching the stuff I want in Japanese with subs, so I don't give a fuck about anyone dubbing anything. I highly advise every else doing the same (well anyone seeking dubbed versions must be actually crazy, amirite?).

I never was one to let the voices bother me too much.If I like the story I like the show. I watched DNA^2 which I thought voices were so terrible it was almost comedic but I liked the plot so I was able to overlook that.

My only comment is that they always find a way to fuck up the voices.

I don't really mind about the voices for anime characters but I hate when they screw up the original pronunciation. That just irks me for some reason. Like last night I was watching the new bleach movie Diamond Dust Rebellion I bought from Best Buy and I could hardly stand to watch it in English cause they kept mispronouncing attacks and stuff or at least I thought so since I usually watch bleach in japanese. Somone who normally watches in English probably doesn't have this complaint though they probably should seek medical help if they are watching in English, lol

I'm just happy that Cartoon Network has not been going on about it being on there network, otherwise the 13yo narutards would have come out of hiding and attacked everyone with there "ninja-skillz" *rolls eyes at them*.

I think of it the same way as any dubbed anime, I think it's cool. I will watch it because I like to not read a show once in a while.

However the animation will be lacking so I probably won't watch it all the time. Also, the fillers that may arise may also resolve for me not to watch it.

And just like everyone says, the voice acting is key in an anime.

Let's look at this from another view. Not the show, but the audience. Assuming that the rumors are true than that it is fact that Disney will air it, kids will like it and Narutards will be born, but that's not to say that some good won't be able to come out of it. Some of those kids will be more interactive with anime and dwell more in the community. Of course we will receive those annoying ones but it some might anime goods stores, or become translators for our hentai, or might be a great voice actor if they wanted to so that every anime lover will stop complaining about the quality of dubs.

Hearing it in another language so ruins the whole emotion part and dialouge and way of speach. If i were to say so myself, Its a disgrace to anime!!!! having it subbed is fine enough but dubbing would ...... I can't even continue!

Have you ever heard the chinese dub of Archer using Unlimited Blade Works? It sucks sooo much that even Americans are better. Then again the japanese reporter who did the story about the kid who killed himself cuz he though he was Gaara pronounced Naruto as Narudo... Its like someone saying PORN IS IMMATURE AND I GREW OUT OF IT... worst thing i ever heard of. The next one is Sports is for lazy people.... WTF?

well, you know, watching anime without hearing any Japanese word is a bit weird for me. This morning i watch Indonesian dubbed Naruto and they give Inari (well, if you forget, the old carpenter's Tazuna grandchild that the village attacked by Zabuza)a-very-female-like voice. And the dub quality is sucks too. they didn't get he heart of the real seiyuu. I would prefer have subtitled anime than dubbed one.

Dubbs also make it hard to understand when people are screaming at each other.
I always had an impression that Naruto was voiced by a 50 year old woman.
