Yakitate Japan!

I was looking around for it, but i didn't see it anywhere so i thought i'd make a topic for it. Anyways, it's an anime about bread, you heard me right, and boy is it hot outta the oven! (you can slap me later) As for this anime, it is probably one of my favorite animes next to lucky star and one piece since some of the bread making techniques seem so bizarre but then they show a reality point of view in which seem possible.

the show itself is 69 episodes (which is hot), and thats over the span of 3 seasons i believe. at least give it a try up until the 3rd-4th episode, from there you will probably end up falling in love with the show or just not finding much interest.


one more thing, after watching this anime, i really believed I COULD BAKE A LOAF OF BREAD, so i tried from kneading the dough to adding in ingredients and then baking it. all in all, my bread tasted like shit, but i wasn't angry, i loved the show too much.

Hmm... someone recommends this show. I always assumed it was dumb.

I recommend it as well. It was very good, but not great. Coulda been a tad shorter, but overall, very funny stuff. The reaction sequences people have when they taste awesome bread are the highlights of the series. It had some cool music also.

And yeah, it made me want to bake bread too, but I knew better than to try =). Kinda like how Hikaru no Go made me want to try go.

though i respect your opinion, i believe this is a top notch anime filled with obscure and unique topics with its own kind of humor. episodes 20-55 or so was the climax of the series, i couldn't stop watching and yea, the reaction scenes were always amazing.

Afro always wins me out XD.Good comedy aswell so thumbs up!
