Yen Press's new English licenses

So today yen press announced some new licenses, they also said awhile ago that they will also be releasing the Durarara manga as well as Is This a Zombie? The new stuff is

Take heart, Alice fans! Yen Press will be releasing the COMPLETE Alice in the Country of Hearts series in June 2012 as three omnibus editions each collecting two volumes of the original series!

So who else is excited, what are you excited about, will you actually buy any of this?

Buy... nope. Read.... maybe the until death one.

I'd buy if I was excited about any of that. I'll take the Madoka anime over any of its related mangas, and I'm not a fan of Nagato.

Yen Press books are flooding my local comic bookstore, and I gotta say I like what I see, especially they pick up nice 4-koma works for publishing. Last month I chanced upon a single copy of "S.S. Astro" on the shelf, bought it within seconds.

If those works above get in there, I'd happily grab 'em all.

Yen Press will be releasing Thermae Romae in a deluxe hardcover omnibus format, with each omnibus containing two volumes of the original series.

Kaoru Mori: Anything and Something, a standalone collection of short stories and art by Kaoru Mori, author of the critically-acclaimed A Bride’s Story and Emma. Kaoru Mori: Anything and Something will be released as an oversized hardcover to match A Bride’s Story.

Umineko When They Cry, a manga adaptation of the mystery visual novel series by Ryukishi07, author of the New York Times bestselling Higurashi When They Cry. This series will be released as an oversized omnibus edition, with each English volume containing two volumes of the original series.

The Misfortune of Kyon & Koizumi, a collection of short story comics by various artists, featuring the boys of the SOS Brigade and based on the internationally-bestselling Haruhi Suzumiya novel series.

Alice in the Country of Hearts: My Fanatic Rabbit, spun off of the popular game series by QuinRose. In this telling, Alice takes up residence at Hatter Mansion with Mafia boss Blood and his faithful rabbity companion, the March Hare. (The manga adaptation of the original Alice in the Country of Hearts will be released as three omnibus volumes volumes in June 2012.)

I am SOOOOO psyched for Thermae Romae, I will most certainly be purchasing the entire series.

I know almost nothing about this series, is it any good?

It's fantastic if you're also a Rome fanatic or history buff. The short anime series is also fun, but as of now only a few chapters of the manga have been translated by fans.

Only yen plus book any good is pig bride and sundome.

I'll probably check out Madoka tbh. I've only got one YenPress manga now I think about it, Kuroshitsuji.
