Now that a few titles from Spring 2009 are past their halfway mark, some even approaching the end of their airing schedule, it is time we moved on to the specific series of the summer season. Gambler will once again try to identify schoolgirl related titles, possibly containing fanservice, though I have to say I am not always successful at the above-mentioned aspect.
Without further ado, I present "Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou". After doing a little research on said title, magic is definitely one of the key themes in its storyline, coupled with some form of modern technology, which can be seen in the trailer below. As with all other titles falling under the magical girl genre, I suspect the female protagonist is one who possesses raw talent, yet can only nurtured through the guidance of others, and in this case, a character resembling your typical office lady. One can expect to see battles among various magic users and also transformation scenes, which I hope will feature some form of nudity. :D

I will give Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou a shot to see how things turn out and hopefully, you people will enjoy it too. :)
"Morishita Koyomi (voiced by Nonaka Ai): A bumbling first year high school student who has the body of a child. Since she's only 146 cm (4 ft 9 1/2 in) tall, she's often mistaken for a elementary school student when she is wearing her own clothes. She gets lousy grades, is not very athletic, and doesn't really have anything about herself to brag about, so she decides to go a magic school that she saw in a flyer in order to change herself. She has the unusual ability of being able to take any code (spell) and changing it into a gold washtub summoning code. This ability has gradually been improving. She, at first, could only summon a copper washtub, then an iron one, and then a silver one."
I watched episode 00 about half an hour ago, and I found it hilarious. But, I think I've always been kind of a sucker for the whole "Pan falls on head" gag, and a show dedicated to that just tickles my funnybone.
Episode 00 DDL. Get SFW's, because Chihiro's has terrible raw size.
Although I am enjoying Yoku Wakaru Gendai Mahou at the moment, I am somewhat disappointed that it isn't very popular among anime viewers. Perhaps it has been outshined by Princess Lover and Canaan in terms of fanservice and action respectively.
However, I admit some of the programming codes mentioned by the various characters can be confusing at times, especially for someone who is not very IT savvy, like myself.
