Younger Sisters!

Younger sisters(aka imouto) are essence in many animes/mangas/VN. They deserve a thread to talk about. Let's talk about any younger sisters, not necessarily one of main character's. We can talk about younger sisters in general or specific characters we like.

These all count.
-younger sister (ex. Kokuto Azaka)
-stepsister (ex. Tohno Akiha)
-half-sister (ex. Illyasviel von Einzbern)
-younger of the twin (ex. Fujibayashi Ryou)

These don't(in my opinion).
-cousin (ex. Kobayakawa Yutaka)
-clone (ex. Lycoris)


I like Ryougi Shiki and Kokuto Azaka from Kara no Kyoukai. It is not very well known but Shiki actually does have an older brother(mentioned in chapter 2 & 4). I like Shiki just because she is cool(love her eyes). I like Azaka too because of her love toward her brother, Mikiya. It is really fun to read about it in the novel (sad that animated film version ruined it).

I For One Was Glad She Was Picked At The End Of The Anime. Visual Novel I Would Choose Her First Any Day Of The Week.

The best Sister that I can think of is Eruuru from Utawarerumono. She is kind and a great sister to Aruuru. Just as a character in general she is my second favorite right behind Saber.

I've got many I would like to name, but I'll just throw one out there so others can have a chance.

Fucking hawt and has an open brother complex. NOM NOM NOM. Wincest.

As above stated Eruruu, I must say I like the younger sister Aruruu better. One of my favorite characters, all time. Damn she's cute. I want her to call me Onii-chan =D

Since it's about younger sisters, Aruruu from Utawarerumono and Mikan from To Love-Ru.

noa from oniichan control, lovely, but creepy... but stil lovely!

BTW, Iliya is an older sister, as it becomes clear in Heaven's Feel arc.

To Love-Ru's Mikan is a good idea of an imouto - cute, fussy, responsible, and likes to have time with oniichan. She also got this moe factor around her, which partially explains the lots of doujins that feature her prominently.

BLEACH's Ichigo got two younger sisters - the fiercely independent Karin and the wife-like Yuzu, which given their fraternal twin status it's like they're two halves of hat would be a good imouto, but I like them otherwise. If they were just a little bit more clingy to Ichigo I would've liked them better ^_^

I also like Ui, Yui's younger sister in K-On! - she just likes oneechan too much, and she's quite responsible as well.

Well... Clannad also have this cute imouto, Mei Sunohara, who in the anime was cute enough for me. I especially liked the scenes with Tomoya and the one scene with calling him oniichan repeatedly was classic enough.

Lethally moe sister award goes Mei form Clannad. No discussion. She eats all them Mikans and Illyas for breakfast.
Akiha/Azaka own as far as sisters_who_wished_to_be_more are concerned.
Lenalee reigns supreme in the 'Obsessively over-protective older brother' devision.

Akane from Rumbling Hearts... Cute, Smart, Athletic and shes sweet too! :P
