Slam Dunk:This would be in second but still a fine sport anime although i didn't get into watching it maybe cuz im not that into basketball at all.
Bowling King:Funny as hell but a bit weird
Doraemon Baseball:Love the meaning plot and the epic crossover of the most popular sports in Japan and Europe,it's quite funny tho although im still confused about how to play baseball even after finished this manga.

Touch was pretty amazing and influencing to me.
Slam Dunk was INGENIOUSLY good. So addicting too haha, a shame the anime doesn't cover all of the manga... but I picked up where the anime leaves off and the manga was insanely good too.

I seem to have a love/hate relationship with sports anime/manga. I've only found a few that I love and the rest I just cant get into.
My favorite by far is EyeShield 21. I just love everything about this manga, The story is good, the art is excellent, and it has a good amount of comedy in there as well. The only beef I have is that they bend the rules quite a bit to keep the games more interesting. Since I'm a huge football fan this really pisses me off, but oh well.
Oh and Hajime no Ippo is a close second as well. My favorite Boxing manga by far.

Ah, sports manga. I picked up this baseball one some time ago for the art and glad i did. As a baseball fan I appreciated the attention to details of the game the author made sure to follow. The art is really what kept me with it tho, highly detailed in what seems to be a mix of oldschool/newer style.
