Your opinion on (FLCL) Fooly Cooly

Personally I love the 6 episode series but sometimes I feel like I'm a tad obsessed over something so short.

Maybe it's because I've seen it so many fucking times, but to me, It's kinda lost its magic.

This series is perfect. The characters are classic, the plot is intricate enough that it takes multiple viewings to see the true beauty of it, but simple enough to catch the basic gist the first time through. Each episode has a moral and could be viewed as a standalone. Should a new viewer catch only one episode, they could still enjoy it. The music selection is the best in any anime series, bar none. Coupled with the amazing visual beauty, the Pillows soundtrack is glorious. Watching Canti swirling into the air, with the Pillow's "Hybrid Rainbow" blasting, I feel alive.

It's pretty good with lots of obvious symbolism and kick ass music.

I love the series, its one of my favorites.

My opinion?
I didn't understand shit! The anime was so whack I couldn't even figure out the plot, I was quite surprised to hear that there was one.

But that doesn't mean I didn't like it.It was quite enjoyable for what it was, randomness, more randomness and whole bunch of a weird shit with some chick riding vespa, robots growing out of the protagonists head and a weird-ass factory.

Best anime I've ever seen

I'm glad to hear others still like it, even though some feel it loses its magic after a while. I do have to say some do from time to time. I'm just glad I've found bludgeoning angel dokuro-chan it just sucks that like FLCL it's not very long but the manga has lived on to be much longer.

I need to get on this series.

If ya likes FLCL you should probably watch Dead Leaves.

I'm more into mecha action with huge explosions.

My thoughts on FLCL? Wacky, Out of control and yet at the same time very simple to watch with some great scenes and better music from the Pillows...Personally I think this is a cult classic and quite right too because I love it :D

I have to agree, used to watch it every time it was on TV; now it's very skippable. I think it was just too short to be seen so many times.

FLCL wasn't for me, however of all the people I know that watch anime, I'm pretty much the 'only' one that didn't care for it. It was a bit too wacky, weird and random for my personal tastes. However, all my friends swear by it. :) I highly recommend anyone that hasn't seen it to give it a shot because it seems to be one of those shows you'll either love or hate.
