Yu gi oh GX

so i've been watching this series, and it's actually pretty fun to watch. There are less mistakes in gameplay than the original(even though the characters still make bad moves) plus it's fun to watch people actually have long duels as opposed to actually playing the game(in which almost no serious game takes more than 10 min unless a stall deck is used.)

It was a pretty good series. I marathon'd the series in 4 days. I don't know why people say this series sucked compared to the first one. Opinions, I guess.

lol for sure. my brother still rips on me for liking the series. Am I the only one thats really glad that 4Kids didn't rape the last(4th) season with their dubbing? well as far as I know...

I liked the original more, but like all of the Yugioh series it suffers from too much supernatural crap but I guess that's okay since you can't really diss an anime for having more content. The OP and ending songs from each arcs are awesome before it got westernized where everything about it got butchered. I like it more than 5ds and probably morethan Zexal but the main character just fails to get my respect compared to the original. I don't know... maybe it's his happy go lucky attitude. The artwork surpasses the original but I can't say the same for its plot. Thinking back it never did have an overall plot unlike the original where you know the main plot is about the Pharoh looking for his long lost memories; here it's just a kid doing his best to enjoy his dueling career.

About the cards, I find Judai's deck really hard to use. Yugi's deck is a counter-powerhouse and tactical deck that you can easily work. Judai's deck, aside from the spandex wearing mofos he loves to call out, has cards that are so situational I find it only usable if you have 999 luck IRL.

So is Yugioh GX good? Yes. Is it better than the original? No. Is it better than its sequel? Yes.

Frankly, I agree, it was the best of the Yu-Gi-Oh series.

Better than the odd ball with multi-coloured crazy hair. WAY BETTER than the fucking retarded idea of riding motorbikes while playing cards.

I could never get into this or 5d's. I hope the next series will be better

HAHA I remember this show when it was airing on cartoon network, it seem so long ago, even thou it probably wasn't. I really did like this series better then the first mostly because they actually played the game right, instead of just going "FUCK IT, POWER OF FRIENDSHIP", 5d's on the other hand...yeah, no.

5D's was the best. GX is the worst imo.

IMO Original is the best, then maybe GX. 5Ds = retards driving with motorcycles playing a children's card game. It also tries to copy the original with Jack's card throwing thingy, Kaiba anyone?
Also about Zexal, imo it's not bad but not really good either, so far. We'll see.

I know the first two series are good, and for me, I liked the fact that 5Ds offered SOME sort of closure to Yuusei and Akiza'a "relationship" (I'm a softie, so sue me). All I wanna know is, how is ZeXal compared the the previous three? Is it actually any good? Or does it take the shit path like the Beyblade Metal series?
