We have officially added tiers to the FAKKU subscription. Tiers allow users to subscribe for large blocks of time and are an alternative to being billed monthly.
There are no discounts for subscribing for a longer period of time and no advantages other than convenience.
If you live outside the United States, or have ever had problems subscribing, choosing a longer subscription period will most likely solve any problems you had processing your payment. Some international banks and credit cards do not allow recurring subscriptions if they are less than a certain amount of money (
as was discussed here). If you think you fall into this category of people, try subscribing using a larger tier instead of the monthly option.
If you are a current subscriber and want to switch your account over to a longer tier, you can change your tier on the subscription page:
/account/subscription. On your next rebill you will be charged the new amount and the selected time will be added to your account.
If you are a new subscriber, you can access the subscription tiers on this page:
/subscription/tiers. The payment flow is the same as before, but now you will be subscribing with a larger block of time up front.
Currently the following tiers are available:
30 Days (Default)
90 Days
180 Days
365 Days
