Will fakku be there this year?

Unfortunately not, NYCC has a no adult booths rule.(If I remember correctly)

Uh, they were there in 2014, unless it's a new rule you're on about.

I was contacted about 5 months before NYCC 2016 last year about there not being enough room to have us at the convention that year. Later on I learned that any booth selling 18+ products that had a website showing adult content was removed from the convention as well. It seems that either Reedpop (they run NYCC and other comic conventions) or the Javits center itself was taking a hard line against adult content at comic conventions.

So no, FAKKU will not be at NYCC anymore, though we might try to get into Anime NYC that's starting up this year. However, we'll likely not attend this year and see what the convention is like from our other friends and partners that do attend it
