Otakon, the good, the bad, and the soul crushing

So i just got back from Baltimore. Otakon was a blast. Concerts, mell and kanon, where my overall highlight. Dealer's room was great, but not one stand had the MG exia (to Hobbylink i go). Panel's actually were quite a let down, the only good ones were the ones with uncle yo.

The Good News: I got my hentai shirt and a pic with the guys (see picture)



The Bad News: 1. I spent about 15 hours of the con in some type of a line
2. when i meet the guys, i shaked the guys right hands

The Soul Crushing News: that GREAT Hentai shirt i got, yeah the one in the pic, i forgot it in the hotel room. How, since it was new, when i took it off the shower, i put on the top shelf in the bathroom and accidently forgot about it. Yeah it sucks, ive tried calling, but their Lost and found ppl dont know how to pick up a phone. This just means ill have to buy another.

Final thoughts: Its a good con. !st time ive gone to that one so we made some mistakes. Like spenting 2 hours in the Reg line, when we had Pre-reg'd. We'll prolly go again, but we enjoyed Katsu-con more

Everything honestly, I participated(and lost) in a Gundam panel, watched alot of anime, bought a couple DVDs to give to my little cousin who i didn't know watched anime, had the best Crab cake ever, saw some people from Maryland i haven't seen since i moved 3 years ago, got called hot by random ass girls and RAPED DDR Supernova 2.

Bad
The smell...it seems as though some people didn't shower before coming to the con
No continental breakfast...Fuck you holiday inn.

Broken A/C...Once again fuck you holiday inn...I don't know how i can go into a room and it's 72 degrees; turn on the A/C; go to the con; and come back to the room and it's 79 degrees

I forgot my laptop charger...so no anime leeching....Fail

Lost(and canceled) My debit card...Fail

You were in the gundam trivia contest? I pissed about that, they picked the guy sitting behind me. i knew the answer to just about every question, and im surpised i was the only one in the room who knew about blue destiny and the EXAM system

I was the black guy who got no points...I know alot about gundam just not the names or exact things...I love how they just sat there and had only UC stuff -_- I was like ummm i know a shit ton about 00, 0083, G, and Wing...UC i just know general stuff about... i got my ass rocked

The Good - Mell concert, no show/ panel cancellations like my first Otakon last year, cute cosplayers, the Rave's main room, cleavages in the flesh, HardGay, our awesome hotel room, Fakku meet up (def a highlight).

The Bad - the Rave's Lounge music room which stunk like hell because the A/C must've been turned off, the last rice ball with ears that I wanted was sold right in front of my eyes *sob*, not many Yoko posters hauled by me unfortunately.

The Ugly - nothing really, apart from losing my camera cover, and the con lasting just 3 days.

The Whatcouldhavebeendone - Otakon hiring cute staff to frolick around in skimpy cosplaying outfits to entice me to watch different video rooms or attend panels.

I had a lot on my mind, but resuming work with over 300 emails is taking it's toll on my fragile mind.

The Good: just about everything especially my hotel room and the MELL concert...and tempting certain underage people with my beer *cough* :P

The Bad: The pain from jumping around at the MELL concert and rave the next day...and the con ending ;-;

Also the great time I had with my friends and newly founded friends, spending hours playing blazblue in our room purposely doing Bang Shishigami's "FU RIN KA ZAN" Special and hearing BANGBANGBANGBANG over and over again
Kanon's Concert when she started speaking in that broken can barely speak english japanese accent and giggling every other word, I melted :D


The Bad
Lines, but thats inevitable.
Found the Hatsune Miku CD I wanted I turned around for a second to get my wallet and the last 2 copies had been taken from me :(
Me suddenly realizing that I want to cosplay next year and realizing I need to wait till next year (or at least till anime next in jersey)

The Ugly
Those Filthy wastes of life surrounding the convention center. Bums and Gangsters trying to take money off you any way they can, ugh.
Oh about the Con you mean Hm..nothing that made me rage at all.
