Prop making : rocket launcher/bazooka. Help please :)

Was thinking of cosplaying the guy on the left.
For the bazooka thing, I was thinking of using Eva foam to make.
But Im planning to put orange LED light at the end to enhance the effect.

Any tips?

How about a detail on the weapon, it looks like it could be done with PVC pipe and a heat gun.

The LED is a cool idea, but what if you make a functioning model? Swap the real cartridge for a blank. On one end (of the tube), a small quantity of lighter fluid, for a small explosion. On the other, light about a tablespoon of home-made smoke bomb, for a nice little puff. (2 part saltpeter, three part sugar, caramelize, and cool)

Wire a nine volt to your trigger mechanism, and make each "shell" touch contacts on the inside of the tube. The trigger closes a switch, the battery charge passes through both ends, One side goes boom, the other puff.

BTW, what anime/manga/stuff was that pic based on, in case it was on something... got me curious :P

What tools would i need? Aside from the basic glue and knife

All you need is pvc pipe, epoxy clay and some rubber sheets. The spray paint it back. And i think blue LED is better.
