Should I crossover Call of Duty with Vocaloid for a cosplay?

Its really a derpy question, but I'm a big Vocaloid nerd, and I love Call of Duty. I just wanna know if its a good idea or not to do a cosplay of Hatsune Mikuo if he was in Modern Warfare or Black Ops. I'm trying to figure this out before I go to A-KON this year...

Unless your thinking of some kind of Love Is War Refernce.. but still, the CoD would be hard to get though..

True, though the last con I went to, I did Char Aznable, and nobody knew who I was either, so I guess its a 50/50 on this one.

And thats not the end of it. Here's the best part: They SHOWED Char's Counterattack in the theater room. I just told those "fans" that a true anime fan would know who I was, and not dress as a half ass ninja.

What I got in mind is to pretty much make it look like Woods from Black Ops or Ghost from MW2. Pretty much BDU's and a flak vest. Stuff I can get at an Army Surplus. I probably won't get a helmet for it since I don't feel like wearing it on top of a wig. AS for a gun, I'd go for an airsoft FAMAS or M16.
