I first cosplayed when I was 13/14 as Yuna FF 10-2 for a Halloween party and I was in love with the idea of going to cons seeing everyone in their favorite characters outfits. So when I was 15/16 I went to my first con. I did steampunk/Lolita cosplay with friends and was so scared but some of my best memories as a kid.

I had to stop going to them due to college and then later work (had to pay bills and was super stressed being a new fledged adult).

When I was finally in a good place financially and personally I started back up with cons a little over a year ago. I am dressing up as everything I’ve ever dreamed of doing and meeting so many amazing people. I’m looking to continue to do cons and more with them possibly as time goes on because I love what they have given me in the times I’ve attended.

I went to my first con when I was a freshman or sophomore in high school, I believe. It was Anime Boston and I went with my brother. I didn't cosplay then but the next year I went with my (then) girlfriend who was into cosplay and she helped me get into it and helped make my first cosplay, which was Mutsumi from Sgt. Frog.

Since then I've been cosplaying almost every time I go to a con and I usually go to at least 1 a year. In 2017 I decided to try crossplaying since I wanted to do a masquerade performance and that was really fun so I've actually done crossplays ever since then.
