1 New Message!

Okay... I got this bug that says I have 1 New Message.

But after I open it what I see? NO NEW MESSAGE AT ALL!

I haven't see it in Bug list so I want to tell ya all this.

Yep, same problem here. It's consistent with new messages I get though, so if I have a PM it says "2 new messages"

Same thing, makes me feel special.

I never got the 1 new message prob... but when I try to open some stuff in my inbox, I got this.

I have this bug too.

Jacob knows about this bug. Will be fixed eventually but there are other problems at hand now.

He knows how to reproduce it too so just give it time.

It's not highest on the priority list to fix at the moment since it doesn't actually break anything. Just think of it as 1 message = 0 messages and 2 messages = 1 message.

I'm getting my private messages in form of a thread: I get private message, I respond, and a thread forms... what? I don't think that was supposed to happen.

Actually it is suppose to happen like that. Allows you to keep track of the conversation better without having to store over 5000 PMs in your box.

Yeah, that's actually a really cool improvement. Do we have a list of things that have been/are being improved along with these bugs? It would be nice to put things into some perspective.

lol.. bugs sending messages.. that happened to me too

I only know that the new message bug happens when people sends you messages but deletes them before it's read. the number matches too, so that should really be the cause.

I think it's if you send someone a pm and delete it before that person reads its.

I sent asaforever a pm, then deleted it. And he appears to have the one message error

Yup, same happened to me, I'm now at 3 new messages.

Sometimes I wish I could cover it or make the font smaller so I don't have to look at mine. .____. I figured it was a bug when I first saw it and am patiently awaiting for it to be repaired.

If this problem is only happening to a few people and not everyone isn't Jacob going to have to manually fix everyones account that has the problem one by one?

I'm sure that depends on the situation. I imagine that everyone who is having this problem all share a common denominator, which might explain why this error is occurring. The point is to figure out what that common denominator is, so Jacob can fix the problem.

all my saved pm's deleted themselves =/
