About Signature???

I've been wanting to make a signature, but it's read on the profile editing page that a signature is "A block of text". I've seen many people have really cool signatures. So how do I make a signature that includes pictures, spoilers and hyperlinks? BTW, what is the "From" panel that sits right above the signature editing panel?

By putting the codes, you can put up your pic, hyperlinks, etc.
Say for example;
For pics:
[ i m g ] [insert link of the pic here] [ / i m g ]
For spoilers:
[ s p o i l ] [insert whatever you want within the spoiler] [ / s p o i l ]
As for hyperlinks:
[ u r l = [insert link] ] [insert name of the link here] [ / u r l ]
Well, I think you know them already, but yeah, that's pretty much it. And exclude the spaces.
