they have a chat room which can be used to reduced the spam over the forum. if there's a chat room, people who post meaningless post can be distinguished and reduced
i know that right now FAKKU is experiencing some trouble over the past few weeks for the current traffic, but just consider this is my suggestion

Well yeah, since the IRC is embedded in the site and you don't need to run a separate client, I can't see any difference between that and a chat room.
