As all of you probably know, a 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Japan near Miyagi prefecture, killing thousands of the nearby residents with billions of yens' worth of damage.
Fueling the crisis is the imminent nuclear issues, which, as of this time, includes:
1) The possibility of meltdown,
2) Explosions at reactors 1, 2, and 3, fire on 4,
3) Leak of radioactive materials of reactor #2 that were absorbed in the atmosphere to be spread to other areas via precipitation,
4) and steeply rising temperature of reactors 5 and 6
Putting the news aside, I was wondering if Fakku would put forward any efforts in helping Japan? I was thinking that the users can buy Fakku or Sanshee products, percentage of profits from which can be donated to Japan. I think that this would increase interests of the users about the collection effort more than just pure donation effort, and the users also get Fakku products in return, which could further advertise the sites... (wait...)
I am a South Korean, not Japanese. However, being Japan's neighbor, I feel obliged to help the nation that brought forth anime and hentai that everyone here love so much. I donated $25 to Red Cross (which, I think was a bad idea now that I think about it).
