Downloads are uber slow

For the past, i dunno, 3 months downloads from fakku have been crazy slow, like 30 times slower then dialup (between 2 kbps and 20 kbps, it never gets higher, ever). Is this an ongoing issue? Before this started I was able to dl at much faster speeds (anywhere from 130 kbps to 400 kbps).

You should talk to your ISP about connection speeds.

my connection is just fine, Fakku is the only site i have issues with, which makes me think there's a bad hop somewhere.

100% loss on pings to fakku as well. Its not so much a problem now as I found that I can use Neo Downloader to pull the images from the online galleries yesterday, but still, looks like something within Tinet's (not my isp) network loop thats causing my problem.
