Easier/Clearer way for multiple tag search

The title says it all.
But for those who don't know, or would like to know, the only way to do a search with multiple is by searching like this in the search bar: (tags), (tags, (tags), etc.
I've wanted to do this for ages, but I never knew how to do it. I've only learned like 10 minutes ago.
My idea would be to add an advance search besides the search bar. In the search bar you could "check" what tags you would like. In the advanced search you could also add thing like: authors, date, minimum ratings, etc.
Btw, sorry if my english was somewhat poor. It isn't my mother tongue ;) !

Jacob recently asked if we need more tags, so until those are sorted it doesn't seem like a multitag search with tickboxes would be viable at this point.
