How to use .Gif as avatar?

Can someone help me with this?Cause I've been trying to use a .gif file as an avatar like most people here but when its uploaded it becomes a still image... so question is am i doing it wrong or are there steps?

Did you put it through the Avatar Cropping system they have on Fakku?
Because if you do that it makes the image (.gif file) still instead of an animated one.

If so just use a .gif file which is 160x260 or smaller to begin with.

Yes,yes i did because i don't know how to bypass the cropping system everytime i upload something it tells me to crop it and i don't know how to cancel it.

The cropping system usually kicks in only if you try to upload a picture bigger than the 160x260 limit.

So yeah you go and resize your .gif to the aforementioned dimensions.

Also, gif can't be more than 128kb. (at least that was the limit. I don't know if it is anymore since Jacob took those limitation notes out of the profile)
