Microsoft's achievement system gives you points to brag to your friends about. Valve's achievement system sometimes gives you in game collectables.
Fakku's achievement system simply because other people do it, rewarding the fakku user with absolutely nothing.
This is the worst way of thinking for a company.

How about making it so if you buy a Mega Milky shirt, if you type something simple (lets just say ":Milky:"), this face comes up:
The server could host the image, the :Milky: code would just be something to call the image.
This could be the case with all shirt achievements.
Another possible reward for getting an achievement would be having the ability to have a quick avatar switcher. If you make 1,000 posts, you can upload 3 avatars and quickly change what avatar you want to show in a single click - essentially having 3 avatars on a quick changer on your settings page.
like this
There are tons of ideas for rewarding a user for getting an achievement - suerly the community would love to suggest cool shit they can do if they make X number of posts or buy a shirt.
you can make it so if you're a Fakku Gold user, you can have all of the abilities without needing the achievements.
And an idea for Gold users: make it so Gold Users can do things to the community (but not to them selves).
Example: make it so that if they make a thread with a very specific guide line (i.e. titles needs to be "DO YOU WANT COFFEE BITCH"), if somebody replies "Jacob does," they get redirected to a page that is Dig Dug with Jacob as the miner and he's collecting coffee.
Or maybe
once a day Gold members can publicly block someone's avatar for an hour (every user would see the X over an avatar).
something like this
Shorter version
If you're going to keep achievements, have them do something. If you're going to tease Fakku Gold, have it do something - not just show something you can find in your browser history.
