Some rule should be made or something should be done about the category "Meet and Greet".
There is far too much spamming done in this, a lot to just increase post count or just spam for the sake of spamming.
4 different users, posting the same thing in just about every M&G thread they can find. I bet they don't even read the first post.
I suggest either posts don't count in the section or some sort of spam guard thing or something. Dunno. Category Moderator?
I remember reading in the rules that spamming on purpose is a bannable offense. Surely this cannot go on. There's a difference between greeting someone and just posting a generic hello to everyone.

Okay, for one, you really shouldn't call out users like that with those images. Two, it's been addressed on the forums a couple of times and seemingly nothing has been done. I'm assuming Jacob has seen the topic(s) relating to it and doesn't really feel like anything needs to be done.
I fail to see why it is a big deal. Let them do what they want. So what if a user is posting stereotypical greeting messages? So what if they may or may not have an ulterior motive? It's not really an issue, and really isn't any business of the members.
If it happens to get that out of hand then Matty or Jacob will do something about it. It's just a post. Stop worrying about whether someone else is spamming or boosting their post count, and if it really concerns you that much it would be a lot more productive to send Jacob a PM than creating a topic that calls out members like this in such an disrespectful fashion.

At least it'll collect all the spammer into one section which their spam will be at least make the OP on meet and greet happy :D

Are you saying that those people should not welcome the newcomers because they are spamming?
Of course some of them are using Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V Too much, but still they're taking actually taking a bit of their time to make the newcomers feel welcome.
If spamming is disturbing you and others' mind, then I say posting on meet & greet should not increase the post counts like IB does, but then again. this might decrease the number of "spammers" welcoming the newcomers and Fakku's popularity might also get decreased

I swear we just had this thread like a week or two ago. To summarize, majority view is that nobody cares because if it weren't for those spammers new people would feel completely ignored and it's good they're shoving their spam there instead of places where anyone would actually be bothered by it.

If posts in the meet and greet section do not add to one's post count, then members on Fakku may no longer have an incentive to welcome others on board. However, at the same time, using the same sentence to welcome different users may cause a member to appear insincere. As human beings (or maybe it only applies to myself), we would like to be warmly welcomed by one person, rather than have 10 messages from an automated system or bot.
Gambler's recommendation: Put yourself into the shoes of the new user and welcome him/her with sincerity. Use different sentences to welcome different users and if possible, talk about what s/he has said in the opening post. You could also comment on his/her avatar and signature.
