Missing Profile Favorite boxes

This bug happened while I was organizing my favorite h-manga on my profile.

When the empty favorite boxes in my profile were filled up, I replaced one of the manga in my favorites with another manga I liked better. Then, I decided to change the order they appeared, so I pressed remove on all of them so that I could replace the entire list.

That was when I noticed that removing the favorite manga also removed the favorite box entirely, leaving me with an empty list and unable to add anymore favorites to my profile.

Then it seems we really do have a site error/bug here.

I tried adding favorites again on my profile on both Firefox and IE, but regardless of what browser I'm using, the favorite boxes are still missing after they were removed along with the favorite manga. Without those empty boxes, I can't add anything anymore.

Anyone else experience the same thing, or know a way around this problem?

It is probably related to all of the maintenance that Jacob is doing. Wait and see what is happening with the Favorites box once all of the maintenance is finished.

Yeah that's the only thing we can do really, hopefully this problem is resolved once maintenance is over.

I sure hope that is just the case, I was just a little bothered because I encountered this issue a couple of days before the maintenance announcement got posted.

I can wait, anyway. We've got plenty of great material here, and at least I'm sure that this maintenance will be for the good of our beloved site.

my favorites doesnt seem to work either when i tried
also it doesn't seem my post or topic count goes up could this also be due to the maintenance?

oh i see now thanks for the info! so could i ask which ones dont count towards raising your posts, sorry for the noob questions

In all forums other than IB, posts are screened by moderators and only meaningful posts will increase your post count.
In IB, they just flat out don't count at all.
Your best bet to increase your post-count is to make meaningful, relevant posts in the appropriate sections, and all will be just fine.

I checked just now, and the favorite boxes are back.

It's working again for me and I was able to create my favorite list, but I haven't tried removing one from the list yet.

This problem has already been fixed.
