Hey, Fakku.
I was wondering what the reason was why users don't have an option to subscribe to forum threads that they've posted in to get responses when somebody else posts in that thread. Being able to tell when a thread is receiving posts would make it easier to keep up with a discussion without checking in on a thread every so often to make sure you're not missing good discussion.
Now, on another forum that I'm a part of, users have the opportunity to opt in to get emails when somebody posts in a thread that they've also made a post in. One email is sent, and no more get sent until the email recipient checks on the thread. The email includes a link to the url of the post the recipient is being notified about.
Why doesn't it exist? How hard would it be to code? Was there ever talk for a feature like this?
