[Locked] Question regarding line space between quotes and sentences

Sorry if I'm being retarded, but has such a big gap always been there between a quote and your post when you only do one space? It isn't a problem or anything I'm just curious because I noticed not long ago and it feels like it wasn't always there. Wasn't it the size of a normal one-space-between-lines i.e. the size between my sentences?

Again, it isn't a problem, I would just like to know. It's probably always been there but I haven't really noticed it until recently.

edit: Oh I see what I've done. Yeah, it was retardedness. Thanks. What I was on about was one blank space between lines, and I never thought it moved that far down. I will request to lock this now.
