Slow Image Loading

Hello,
I'm experiencing a slow image loading problem for several weeks now where it loads at roughly 50-100KiB/s while the rest of the site loads normally at my normal Internet speed; the low-resolution placeholder images also load quickly.
I'm using Android with Vivaldi as my primary browser but I tried Chrome as well with no different result. All on the latest stable versions.
Hope this can be fixed soon as I've been reading the dialogues from the low-res images 🥲.

I've been having the same issue on desktop using several browsers. If I load 2-3 chapters, all I see are loading wheels. I have to constantly refresh the page and then it loads correctly after 1-2 minutes.
