Well, maybe it's because it's a hentai manga. I mean really, people read hentai manga for the sex. If there was a story line though, it'd be overshadowed by the sex scenes. Of course, it would be a different thing if we're talking about certain artists who are actually capable of mixing great story lines with sex scenes, which does not happen very often. I don't really mind spoiling myself with these sorts of stuff because I read them for the sex. The majority of people would say that having actual plots in a hentai manga is a bonus to them.
I totally agree with everything you said. It definitely is a bonus to have stories, cause 19/20 mangas are simply sex scenes. I also usually read them for the sex, but once in awhile there is that magical story line. That's why it sucks so much more to have the story spoiled when there is one! Like finding a bar of gold on the sidewalk, then having someone subsequently bump into you and send it flying into the sewer.
Then get the gold back. Who's to say that the gold will be lost for good? You can still enjoy the manga, even if you spoiled yourself. Even though you know what will happen in the end, you'll still read it to find out how did it reach to that conclusion. You'll feel satisfied knowing how it all ended that way. Everyone wins.
This of course, does not apply to normal mangas. Fuck those spoilers instead.
Of course, I always get the gold back, but the experience of finding that gold is ruined by having to wade through sewage and coming out slightly dissatisfied. Yeah, in the end, I got the gold, but I had to jump into a river of feces too.
I understand that I might be in the minority when it comes to how much I care for good stories in hentai, but it definitely sucks to have a good story ruined.
I guess to clarify, when I say a good story, I don't mean the stereotypical "childhood friend always loved you" and etc. I mean some of that good/weird shit you get into. Sei So Tsui Dan Sha series is a good one for comedy, I would've hated to have that spoiled.
