Hi!
I've been visiting FAKKU years before actually making this account (don't worry, I'm eighteen) and the one [small] thing that I always questioned was the lack of a persistent search bar.
I'm not sure what the correct term is, but it's just where the search bar/top banner stays at the top portion of the screen whilst scrolling.
A perfect example is YouTube:
As you can see, I am quickly able to return to the YouTube homepage or instantly search for a video. A convenient luxury when you've scrolled down a lot.
FAKKU, for example, would look like this:
It's not something I find completely necessary, but, rather, a luxury "time-saving" feature.
Of course, it wouldn't be present whilst in the FAKKU reader, as that would be silly. It would just be nice to have when wanting to quickly access the FAKKU homepage or to the search bar.
Maybe it's already an option and I'm just that much of a noob :P
If it's not, I definitely vote it be added to the back-burner and implemented during the next UI change or website overhaul.
Thanks for reading and let me know what your thoughts are on the subject: clunky? Inconvenient for a site like FAKKU? Lemme know =]
EDIT: try to refrain from posting things relating to "you can just hit F5 (refresh) for the same effect."
I'm well-aware there are alternative ways to "simulate" the persistent banner, as I've called it a "luxury" and not a necessity.
Thanks!
