Suggestion: Recent posts displayed when creating a new post

When composing a new post, having the previous post's text (at minimum) would be a good reference. It doesn't have to be all the posts, or all in the current page, but maybe the last X number of posts so the user can refer to whichever they are replying to.

Don't we have the quote button for that?

Quoting would work if there's a single one you're replying to, or if there's a long quote chain occurring. Otherwise, if you are trying to reply to multiple people you it's not as effective. It's a feature I've seen in other forums that I enjoyed, so wanted to pass it along as a suggestion. :)

Kind of. When you click "Post Reply", you are taken to a separate page. Under the page title there would be a simpler set of boxes that show the last X posts from oldest to newest. The boxes would really be a simple version of post display (just a box, the content, the post & time, *maybe* a quote button). It doesn't have to be overly fancy; just something that let's a poster be able to scroll up real quick to refresh their memory on what all they're replying too if they aren't quoting someone.
