The New Ads

So I don't know if its just mobile or even just me, but these new ads are really anoying. They cover the picture so I cant keep reading and have to skip them which is annoying enough, but they reappear like every 10 pages. What was wrong with the banner ads at the bottom of the page?

If I'm wrong are these not new ads and do I just have malware on my phone?

I assume they're new I just started noticing them recently as well I don't ever have them reappear though once I skip them the first time they stay away

Just happened this time when looking around the forum, but an add keeps on popping up in new tab and my avast antivirus keeps on saying "threat has been detected".
