@ZSecertX: This is just my opinion, not the stance of all of FAKKU or anything, and I'm sure staff members and regular members will all have their own opinions, but manga and doujinshi tend to be of a very high artistic quality and there's a real culture attached to their creation and sale (at conventions mainly). The same goes for h-games and VNs. It's common to find people that collect the aforementioned products simply because they like the artist or are a fan of the series it is "parodying". They're often produced as a labour of love by a small team of artists, as well.
On the other hand, almost every hentai movie is churned out by a studio, mainly using terrible cheap animators. They make Naruto filler look like a multi-million dollar collaboration between Disney, Pixar and Studio Ghibli. For the most basic wanking reasons, hentai movies can be good, but to use a British colloquialism, they really are at the arse-end of the hentai world. Of course, there are some good ones and a number of them have been subbed by FAKKU, but the only hentai sites that focus mainly on hentai movies are tacky pay sites.
That said, I know Jacob wants to make this site as good as it can be and therefore more and more videos will be uploaded in time. I'd say they'll always be in a low ratio to doujinshi, though.

I agree with Teclo. Thank god (=Jacob and the crew) that FAKKU! isn't another one of those half-assed hentai vid websites.

There's actually another factor that's far more problematic than simply the fact that H-doujinshi/manga are of higher production quality than H-anime.
If you guys remember, several months ago the video section had far more videos to watch, many of them uncensored. There was a period when copyright authorities and H-anime licensing companies in the US were cracking down on illegal broadcasting and distribution of licensed H-anime all over the internet. In response to a C&D notice, we removed all of the licensed titles, which is the reason why we don't have many, if any, uncensored videos on the site.
But it doesn't stop here. The Japanese H-animation companies themselves (such as Pink Pineapple) have recently began cracking down on illegal broadcasting of their works on the internet as well. Neither can they simply be ignored because, broke as they are (H-animation companies honestly don't make much money at all, a reason why their production quality is often low), they still have the money and legal sway to put sites like us into trouble. Unlike doujin circles, whose works already violate local copyright laws and therefore do not have as much legal power, and unlike H-manga companies, who are far richer than their animator counterparts (and therefore care less about illegal distribution), H-anime companies can and will take action, as they already have with us. If you noticed, we have taken all three Stringendo & Accelerando: Ultimatum Sera episodes off the video section, and I am contemplating if Stretta: The Animation should even be released, since it is by the same animation company.
All in all, it is unlikely that we will host more videos in the video section. We should probably be glad it isn't already taken down in its entirety.

@Raze: damn, I didn't even realize the Stringendo vids were taken down... it is becoming a real hassle to host hentai vids.

Couldn't very well afford to take that risk though, even though I would be inclined to agree.

Couldn't very well afford to take that risk though, even though I would be inclined to agree.
The risk of posting a sub file? There isn't one. Of lawyers coming into the mix? Thin. Look at PirateBay. They just snorted for a long time until piracy was raised, and then they happily took people to court.
Yeah, yeah, FAKKU isn't like that.

Not only that, The Pirate Bay wasn't U.S. based. Only reason Sweden took action was because it was probably tired of the United States bitching at them to take action. The United States is very annoying like that. -_-
