Topic Subscriptions

I did some searching and did not find anything related to this, so if I missed it, I apologize in advance and hope I am not flamed too much.

I would like to suggest a topic subscription feature. vBulletin's is the best example. I don't like to clog my inbox with e-mail notifications; I prefer to visit the site and see what new replies have been made to the topics I've subscribed to. Also, if you give users an option of subscribing without notification, the system won't have to send out as many e-mails, putting less strain on the server and all.

There is an email notification deal, but i'm not sure if it's working atm. what with all the buggieness happenings. just check the little box to the bottom left when writing your post. it says: Notify me when a reply is posted.
