User tagging

The problem is that it's open to vandalism. I'm more than happy to tag albums if it's an option made availiable to the public of Fakku, but keep in mind tards will mess things up for kicks. Is there some sort of rules as to tagging in albums? When I do album work, the albums always have to have a manga tag and a language tag, based on the language the manga is in. Apart from that, I use every tag is relevant, but I make sure that albums have a minimum of 7 tags (it helps on the search system for the site I tag at).

If we're allowed to suggest tags, I'd recommend:

- Tags for breast sizes (small and large pretty much covers it)
- Tags for sexual acts performed (handjob, oral sex, cunnilinigus, vaginal sex, anal sex, although that one I spotted here, footjobs). These are the very basic tags, they can expand quite a lot depending on who you have tagging.
- Tags for things like bondage, use of sextoys, creampies and bukakke.

Argh, it's a lot to type out, so I'll just copypasta the tagging guide from the site I work at. It covers everything, so all you need to do is clean the tags up to your preferences, as I'm sure from my posting here that you prefer things to be more..... polite? in nature.

Musts
1) It will always either be Straight sex,Yuri, Yaoi, Futanari, or Masturbation of some sorts in a non-ecchi doujin.
2)If there is only masturbation, tag it with Masturbation, Female Masturbation, or Futanari Masturbation.
3)If it seems to be very light, tag with Ecchi. And if you don't already know what Ecchi is, wth?
3)There will always at least be a Creampie, Cumshot, or condom involved when there is a penis (duh)... unless there is the rare occasion of him blowing it in a napkin.
4)Breasts are usually very big, or very small. If your having trouble determining size, ask someone near you... or if that's not gonna happen message me or another guy ( but preferably me as I'm pretty sure some would be pissed at a full mailbox ) In the case of the in-between, don't tag a "Breasts" tag.

3)Group Sex is more than 3 on 1 (Fivesome, This is debatable though, let this run through others) and usually involves Gangbangs.
4)Gangbangs would be when 1 gender totally outnumbers the other, like MMMF or MMMMMMFF or FFFM. In the case of the Female being dominate, Reverse Gangbang would be in place of Gangbang.

This section focuses on the participants thinking and the mood of the Manga.

1)If it turns out that the partners involved seem to get together in a relationship more than just sex, Romance should be added.
2)If the tone of the story is and/or has humorous parts or ends humorously (not light-hearted, remember that), even when involving Rape, Add Humor.
3)BDSM like previously stated involves Bondage and Sado-Masochism. As said by Kouchou:
"BDSM just means both subjects happen at once, usually the darker works at that, whereas just bondage can be fairly light hearted as well."
4)Masochistic people derive regular/sexual pleasure from the either the thought, or the actual act of humuliation to them. But you still need a set that users can work off. If any user can add any tag they please, there will still be a lot of problems outside of vandalism. Take for example, titty fuck and paizuri. Both are applicable tags, but there is only really the need to use the paizuri tag. The other thing is that users might add tags to albums that shouldn't necessarily be there. Not that they'd be added with malicious intent, but simply through inexperience in the processes involved. That can be overcome with time, at least. This applies to voting for tags to be added as well. If you don't know the tag definition, then it will be confusing. Not to mention it would need to be done for every tag. That and most users still wouldn't be interested in tagging the albums, if it were a public thing.

For a bare minimum, I guess that the people doing tagging would need a basic list of tags to be used to work off of, to avoid confusion.

There are a group of users that are tagging any untagged doujin and manga as well as providing descriptions, author, and series information. You can see who these users are by clicking on a user's profile, then looking for if they are part of the group "Fakku helper".

The tagging is going along quickly, and all new hentai is being tagged as it is released. Jacob just added new tags, so the Fakku Helpers will undoubtedly go back and add those new tags to existing hentai. What each tag entails is described at the top of the page whenever you click on that particular tag.



This is just extra info for anyone who cares a little about how we do this:

Unlike what SurvivorType suggested, we only add tags to a release when that tag is one of the main focuses in a hentai - not just if it there is an instance of that tag category. For example, the "Oral" tag is not used on every entry that has a page or two of oral. It must be a release that focuses on oral acts. Likewise, Oppai is not used for every release that features a single large breasted woman. Either the main character or the overall artwork must feature large breast women.

Also, we add tags or relevant description sometimes based on the comments made on a particular entry. If people complain that there is to much NTR elements in a hentai, we will tag it so people who dislike such things can be warned. If people complain that a particular element exist within a hentai that is not covered under tags and is one that other users might strongly dislike, we will add it to the descriptions section.

So recap:

- there is a team of people currently making good progress tagging releases, adding descriptions, authors, and series
- If in doubt, we do not add a tag. Only surefire tags get placed on releases.
- Your opinions and comments matter to us

Oh, I didn't know users were out there doing this. How do I sign up? The more albums are tagged, the better. The only difficult part for me is learning how to use your system here, it's different from what I am used to.
