[Locked] Caption contest extension~

Hey, all. It's about time for last week's caption contest to close. However, I don't really see the amount of entries I'd hoped for, so I'll be extending it an extra week.

I'll also adding a bit more incentive. Not only will one of the people that made it by the deadline win a prize, but for every 15 entries I receive starting today (not counting the ones already entered), I'll be adding another grab bag prize winner. So, call your friends, call your mom and call your dog, because the odds of winning a prize just increased. Maybe they'll win! I'll close the contest for good on Sunday, September 23 at 4PM EDT. The same rules apply as are stated in the link below.

Not quite. The people that made the deadline have that same chance to win a prize as they would had the contest ended today.

The more people there are, the greater the chance that they submit a better picture. Thus reduces the chance of winning.

But you are partly right. The quality of the picture is tantamount.

More incentive, but it doesn't mean the difficulty of captioning that photo is any easier...

So are the people who made it by the first deadline getting their own grab bag, or rather, a separate grab bag?

Do the people who submitted before the first deadline qualify for the extra 15 post/grab bag (aka the runner up, lazy people grab bags) bags?

Who will be judging and how are the entries going to be judged (criteria)?

You misunderstand. I didn't take it in at first either, it seemed too nice.

Nikon is giving away a grab bag to one person who entered before the extended deadline, and is adding a prize for every 15 after that. So one of us early birds is a guaranteed winner. :)

They don't open your mail, do they? I have housemates, but I'd just lie and say it was something boring, books or a part for my computer. I imagine it'll be sent in plain packaging.

No, the new entrants are added to the same pool. It's just that for every 15 new entrants, there will be an additional prize awarded.

This is 100% correct. I might even throw in extra prizes for giggles!
