Is Fakku's version of Shiny Days censored?

I seem to recall that Jast's version of the game was missing some scenes. Is that the case for this one as well? I assume so since it is from the same publisher.

You can restore removed scenes with "leaked" restore patch ( they are uncensored as well )

If JastUsa would consider releasing a true uncut and uncensored official release, including the patch which probably originated from themselves, i would consider buying it.

If Fakku would contact Jastusa regarding this matter, this would be greatly appreciated.

In the case of Eiyuu Senki it seems Jacob wrote (if i remember and understood correctly) on Twitter that the fakku release is somewhat more uncensored or has restored cut content. If this is true then this should be written on the

https://www.fakku.net/games/eiyusenki-the-world-conquest-english

page.

Is the patch listed on VNDB current and safe? I only ask because it has been some years since it dropped, and not a lot of people talk about VNs.

Any further news on this? I just bought Maitetsu and even though I got the DLC from Fakku there was some additional TLC I had to do in order to restore everything I could.

I don't have any, no. I asked around elsewhere and couldn't find anybody who knew if the supposed patch was legit. Having played the unpatched version, I can say that some loli stuff was cut out, but I'm not sure if anything else was taken out when they released the game. I also can't say if the patch would improve the stability of the game. Shiny Days didn't crash for me as much as School Days. If you don't care about loli content, I can say for sure that Shiny Days is worth playing if you liked School Days. If you haven't played School Days, I'd go for that one instead because it is easily the better game. You'll also enjoy the alternate setting for the characters more if you've seen them before in the original setting.

You'll need a written guide to get all the endings though. At some point there was a VNDB post where someone wrote out the all of the route choices. Can't say if it's still there. For School Days, the game uses a hidden affection point system, and there are whole chunks of possible story lines and endings that are almost impossible to get if someone doesn't tell you exactly what to do. It's not just that you can get different dialog options, it's that the game will transition to an entirely different set of scenes depending on these hidden values, and there are too many choices to figure out the triggers. I think Shiny Days is probably the same, but I knew in advance to use a guide.

I hope that helped at least a bit.
