Not true... the Indecent Publications law is still pretty much in effect. It's simply not enforced 100% in terms of strictness in regards to adult entertainment.
While there aren't many recent law suits (just one to my knowledge) against the companies, most of them have joined the self-regulatory associations in charge of forming consensus over censorship as well as restriction in terms of sales.
These are for comercial publications (including h-manga, h-anime, h-game, and adult movies).
As far as doujin works goes, it's all determined by individual artists... they "censor" off just enough lines to be able to say that it could be something else :P
But basicly, the Japanese government can pretty much just come in during comiket and arrest anyone selling h-doujin according to the law :roll: :roll: They just haven't done that (yet).
