I always wondered to many of you how much does a story make or break a hentai. Since hentai is probably the only type of pornography that provides some sort of story/plot even if it is limited, does it really matter. If it does, how long before you lose interest? Can you still fap even though it is bad? Would it matter if the content is good as much as the story of is it just about the sex? Are you paying to fap and read/watch, just fap, or to just read/watch?

I don't really have any criteria for how much I enjoy a particular work. That said, it had better appeal to me in some way. Whether that's specifically in the storytelling or aesthetics doesn't matter. Of course having both is nice, but that isn't necessary for me to enjoy it. I just need to be impressed one way or the other.

Without a good story or at least a neat set-up there really is no point to fapping to 2d. If I just wanted to watch random people have sex with no context, regular 3d porn clips are the way to go. Hentai provides a magical realm where weird shit can go down and you can get some sort of background for your characters, even if it's hella brief.
