The result

I know it won't make up for killing their cat on accident with my car, but I got the neighbors a kitten. It doesn't make me feel that much better, but it did brighten their day a bit.

I'm going to check behind my wheels before I pull out of my driveway from now on. I don't want another tragedy like this to happen ever, EVER again.
