I am sure Edward would make an excellent fighter if given proper training, since her body appears to be very flexible. As of now, Yachiru holds the upper hand.

It all depends on the battlefield, lets face it Yachiru doesn't have the mental ability's that Ed has. So if the battlefield is somewhere where Ed can control it then it doesn't matter how strong or fast the little cherub is.

For example, a reasonably large spaceship, they both start at opposite ends of said spaceship.
Theoretically the first thing they do.

Yachiru starts to run around.
Ed uses cameras to search for Yachiru.(Or just vents everywhere but where she is.)
As such Ed would control the battlefield.

But for example, a plateau, then Yachiru would have the advantage since she would be able to use her speed or eyesight to find Ed while she was dancing about(No idea what Ed would do in a desert)
