A few years late, but hello everyone!

Well, hello there all who roams the Meet and Greet topics and coincidentally are reading this.
I registered at this wonderful site almost 3 years ago and today I finally decided to start using it a little more and perhaps even partake in some topics.

So my apologies for the delayed introduction and my years of silence, I shall do my best to make up for it starting with this, my very first topic!


I'm a guy at 25 who resides in Sweden (Skåne/Helsingborg area), currently part time working while finishing up some unfinished studies from my past. Positive thinking and as you will notice if you have the fortitude to keep reading, likes writing walls of texts. =P I also enjoy to study Japanese.

The first and most relevant thing I can say about myself here would be I am a bit of a collector with both anime, manga and doujinshis. I was always a anime fan, but I didn't quite start collecting it until after my 2 week trip to Japan/Tokyo where I spent at least a few days in Akihabara. With my baggage stacked well beyond the approved cap (no penalties!) I traveled back home and ever since I have committed myself to support my favorite circles, authors and artists by buying their work and well, collecting it. =P

To name a few of my favorite animes:
One Piece (Best one ever although after the time leap it is losing points.)

I am also a huge fan of Warhammer 40k novels, although nowhere near my anime collection I have managed to get a handful of dozens of em.

My personal goal in life originally was to create a manga myself, but upon realizing I utterly suck at drawing I resorted to writing instead but still dream of turning it into a manga or perhaps even an anime. :)

Stopping now before I overstay my possibly fragile welcome now. Feel free to ask any questions about whatever. I will usually be able to respond relatively quickly unless I am at work.

Nice thing that you study Japanese the only thing that keeps me from studying Japanese is that I absolutely have no idea what kind of job I'm going to do when I finished university xD

I'm a newer user, but heck. Welcome to Fakku!

If I ever finally finish my studies, I am planning on taking a 1 year japanese course in Japan. As what I wanna do, just having a solid job is enough, but if I can dream would be as mentioned getting someone who can draw to collaborate with me with making a manga or something. :)

Short of that, working with Japanese/English/Swedish either as a editor or teacher I guess. =P

That I am a German might be useful somtimes
I could became a German teacher in Japan xD
or i could take a 2nd main subject (something with economic) and so some import/export stuff between japan and Germany~
but I bet it is really tough to take 2nd main subject
someone told me it is sometimes harder than studying to become a doctor...

I guess that depends on what you are interested in and feel confident in. If your more into languages then medicine, languages "should" be easier to learn. But of course everyone is different, you should know your own capabilities best. :P

I didn't talk about what to learn easier.
I talked about the amount of time you need and all the things you've got to learn :)
3 different scripts to learn. on of it with thousands of signs and all this stuff like:" you could it also read like.."
But I had definetly fun while learning Japanese, 'cause i like Japan and languages~
