I think now's a fair time to introduce myself.
...Most importantly, though, is that I found this site in the mix. It seems to do what I've always approved of (and what is my father's life goal):

The name's Tharthan, and I'm a game designer.
I also have a strong knowledge in the field of linguistics, the field of philosophy (though more so the former). I like to arrange music (and I play the saxophone) as well as write poetry and stories.
I probably have missed a few things, but I think you get the gist.
Anyways, I hope for fun and interesting times in the future!

A fellow language-lover. Welcome! I, too, love linguistics--more so etymology or the study of how words change meaning over time.
Ever considered becoming a linguistics professor or something? It's nice to have a goal to work towards. I'd like to be a writer in the future, myself.
