Hiya Fakku

Soooo...I'm udongein. It took me ages to decide on this name, after basically every variant of my usual name I could think of turned out to already be taken. ;-;

Anyway, I was a lurker here for a long time and only just today decided to make an account, cause I can always use another forum to hang out on and more cool people to talk to.

My hobbies are mostly pretty standard fare I guess - the vidya games, the anime...although I'm also a language history nut and quite the litnerd as well...writing is my "talent" in that it's the one thing I want to make a career out of someday, cause I can't think of much else I can do. Oh, and I am also really into my music, yessir! Film, too. I do a lot of sitting around, basically. :3

Some quick facts:
-My favorite vidya ever is Super Metroid
-As my name, avatar, and signature may make obvious, I am a shmup addict! Ikaruga in particular I totally fangirl over.
-Bands I am currently addicted to: Fugazi, Melvins, Sleater-Kinney, Boris, Brian Jonestown Massacre
-Fav author is the almighty Vonnegut
-Currently listening to: "Basic Space" - The xx
-I pretty much HAET hentai animation, I really stick to manga/doujins and still images
-But ironically, I love anime and basically never read non-erotic manga (well it's not really that ironic but whatever)

I totally agree about animated hentai art. I got burned so many times buying a titles with pretty art and then finding out the the cover is was way better than the actual show.

If you're into Metroid then you're more hardcore than I am, but I also like video games, so maybe I'll see you in the forums over there.

Yeah, idk, I just can't deal with the (usually) lazy animation, the annoying voice acting (typically from the girls squealing like dying mice throughout sex), and other stuff...

It is not that I have never read any non-erotic manga, it's just a really rare thing for me. I have all of Azumanga Daioh which I love (the anime pales in comparison to the delivery of the humor in 4koma form), and Chobits, aaaand...the Shinji Ikari Raising Project (Eva spin-off), and the first volume of Loveless, and the first volume of a rather disappointing Haruhi adaptation. Oh, and a beautiful one shot called "not simple." It's amazing. These are all the manga I own, and I don't really read it online much.

Yup, I quite enjoy the Touhou games, at least the shmup ones. My favorite is Imperishable Night, and not just cause Reisen is in it. My favorite after that would have to be Embodiment of Scarlet Devil, I think.
