Hey my name is Patrick and I've been lurking for a few months, decided to finally make an account and be part of the community.
Throughout all of high-school (just graduated, yey!) I could honestly say I hated manga/anime because I couldn't relate to it, and it seemed unrealistic.
Through some forums and through one of my friends addiction with anime, i started taking interest in it because some of the artists were amazing, and then I watched bible black and I love it now =3
When I first heard of fakku I used it when it had the search engine working :P and ever since then I would just be finding fap material.
Thats not really the case anymore, as I'm starting to love more romance/drama series of manga. Recently life has hit the drain and everything started crumbling; my girlfriend dumped me and is going out with the guy that caused me grief throughout all of high-school, my job cut my hours so i only have 1 shift a week, parents want me to gtfo of the house, and most of my friends are going places that are interesting.
So after looking at the most recent tournament, I read all the translated volumes i could find of Virgin na Kankei, and it made happy. I go onto this site now to find more drama/romance series as it helps ease the pain of what life is throwing at me.
