Hello ! My name is Severin Cipot and I am from Slovenia. I have been a member of this site for a couple of years but I have not been very active.
The main reason I joined ws to download anime and translated visual novels. I really love and enjoy all aspects of Japanese culture , especially otaku culture , even though I have not experienced it personally. I would really like to contribute to the FAKKU! society , but as of yet I have nothing to give back and my low performance system is not helpful in that regard.
That concludes the introduction , now comes the question. Having have played visual novels for a few years and having have watched anime for much longer , I have come to the realization that not knowing how to read kanji or even hiragana and katakana seriously sucks. That is why I would like to ask if anyone knows a good site where I could learn the aforementioned writing , and if you would just like to hold a conversation with me , that is fine as well.
You can post your answers in this topic or ask me and i will give you my E-mail address. I thank you in advance for your help and hopefully your friendship.
Welcome to F! ^__^
In my Jap class, my teacher always used to use this site http://www.learn-hiragana-katakana.com/ and genkijapan videos to help. You always use online sites but I find actually writing it down on paper instead of revising it on screen is a lot better to help you memorise the characters it easier ^^ Also, making a giant poster of hiragana and katakana really helps! ^0^ Gambatte kudasai! ^w^
