Yo everyone. Been lurking on Fakku for a long time, just created an account and bought gold yesterday. Learned there is a forums section only yesterday.

Looking to make some friends I guess. If you got steam message me and maybe we can play dumb video games sometime.

Woah sweet. You have heritage in Iceland too? Where is your family from?

Reykjavík and Suðureyri (a tiny town near Ísafjörður). I try to visit every now and then. What about you?

My father is from Keflavík. Hes been a fisherman and farmer almost his whole life. Right now my grandparents live in Keflavík but most of my family have moved to Reykjavík. I live in California right now but in about a year I am going to move there for a month or two to take some classes and learn the language. I plan on living there eventually. I get along well with my older cousins, who are total weebs. I swear they have the largest figure collection in Iceland, I should get some pictures.

Haha, cool. English works too well in Iceland so I don't think I will ever bother to learn the language. I already understand conversational Icelandic rather well so I can do fine on my own.

Also as a movie enthusiast, I recommend watching the comedy series Næturvaktin and the sequels. I'm sure you can find them somewhere. You might even pick up a phrase or two. It's been translated into English btw.

yeah 90% of people there speak perfect English but i still want to learn the language, its really cool and my grandparents don't speak English very well. I will check out those movies though thanks.

Welcome to the forums, what kind of dumb video games are you playing currently?

I play alot of Melee. Go to tournaments when I can, lots of fun. But when I hate myself I play CSGO until I get upset haha.

I play none of those dumb video games :(
I know all about getting salty though, lol.

I usually play league or guild wars 2 with friends. Been playing skyforge by myself though.

I cant go back to league. Good lord never again haha. I used to but man its infuriating.
