For starters, please check the date of the last post on a thread before making a post there. It's actually against the rules to meaninglessly post in a thread that has been even 2-4 weeks dead (called necrobumping). Recently, more new users have been doing, and quite frankly, it's pissing me off.
So, yeah, don't do that, follow the rest of the rules, and you'll be fine. :)

My advice would be to stay away from the Incoherant Babbling forums unless you know what you're letting yourself in for. Many newbies have posted in there without prior knowledge and have gotten torn to shreds for shitposting.
