I just joined Fakku, but I'm not a stranger to the site. I'm also no stranger to forums, so I don't think I'll have a hard time here. Still, I have to admit that I feel a little awkward . . .
I'm in my mid-twenties. I love anime and manga, video games, movies, comics, etc. The usual stuff. I am not without my eccentricities, however. For one thing, I'm rather exploratory when it comes to sex (at least in my own private world). I'm also hardwired a bit differently than most people. I'm not certain, but I believe I have Asperger's or something similar to it. I'd like to get checked out by a professional, but being a US citizen without health care or money kind of inhibits that. Anyways, it's not too noticeable on a forum, but even online, I have a hard time being "close" to people. Talking through instant messages and the like make me anxious; I'm not sure if I'm talking too much or too little, and I often find myself with nothing to say, though that's usually because I'm holding back because I assume the other person isn't interested in whatever I have to say. I guess in the end, don't expect me to very talkative outside of the forums. I mean, I don't mind talking to people, but if you send me a message, and I send one back, and then you send me a second message, don't be offended if I don't reply to the second one or only say, "That's cool" or something. It doesn't automatically mean that I don't like you; chances are, I'm simply not sure what to say.
Another thing about me - I can ramble. On and on and on.
Well, I feel even more awkward now, but I'll browse the forums and try to insert myself in and make myself comfortable. I'm looking forward to meeting some fine people!
