I've been reading and perusing this site for quite some time, and so figured that it was high time I introduced myself!
Well, I have to say, I find myself to be a little... "strange" when it comes to my interests and taste in entertainment. At least, compared to everyone that I have come across thus far!
My interests include: Anime, manga, acting, theatre, musical theatre, opera, video games, listening to music, reading and (attempting) writing fiction, computers, watching movies, photography, art, singing, psychology, cooking, surrealism, horror, romance, zombies, vampires, and cheese.
Some of my favorite films are :
Taxi Driver, Shaun of the Dead, Titanic, Alien, Hot Fuzz, Donnie Darko, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Blade Runner, Ikiru, Little Shop of Horrors, Sunset Boulevard, Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion, Halloween, Psycho, Evil Dead II, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Grease, and The Nightmare Before Christmas.
Some of my favorite animes are: Elfen Lied, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Air, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Hellsing Ultimate, Lucky Star, Clannad and Full Metal Panic!.
Some of my favorite mangas are: Marmalade Boy, Mirai Nikki, Highschool of The Dead and Battle Angel Alita.
Some of my favorite games are: Resident Evil(series), Silent Hill(series), Half Life(series), Final Fantasy VII,VIII and X, Fatal Frame(series), Team Fortress 2, Counter-Strike Source, Fallout 3, Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines, Metal Gear Solid(series), Left 4 Dead(series), Diablo(series), Starcraft(series), Xenosaga(series), Touhou(Series), Shadow of The Colossus, Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem, Yume Nikki, and the Rayman games.
My favorite Visual Novels are: Tsukihime, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, Saya no Uta, Chaos;Head, and Fate/Stay Night.
Some of my favorite television shows are: Dexter, Glee, Firefly, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lost, Angel, Sanctuary, Futurama, Family Guy, The Simpsons, The Colbert Report, and South Park.
Well, I'm off to take my morning walk before my next vocal lesson. I hope to make a good connection with some of you folks here. Even if I am a little...well, "strange" as I previously put it. Oh! And, if any of you are familiar with the MBTI (Myers Briggs Type Indicator), I'm an INFJ. ^^
